Super easy to set up with the wireless plug and play interfacing. Just power it up and it's ready to go. It has pumps for both pH up and pH down. This way you can assure that you always have the right pH level. It has built in algorithms that make sure it doesn't dose up and down consecutively. Since this unit connects (via wireless) to the Reservoir Controller, it knows how much water is in your reservoir and will make sure it doesn't keep dosing when it's empty or while it's refilling or doing a reservoir change. Also it calculates how much pH up/down it needs to add based on the size of your reservoir and how much is left in your reservoir. The way this works is that you input your reservoir size into the Mydro Lab Master. It can handle anywhere from a tiny 10L reservoir all the way up to a giant 9900L.
Note that the Mydro Lab system diagram in the 2nd pic doesn't show this unit. However this unit is designed to go straight into the Mydro Lab system by simple plug and play.Allow me to explain a little. The doser unit shown in that diagram is the "Multi Doser". This is a 4 pump doser expandable to 8 pumps that can do pH up and/or down as well as nutrients/additives.So by adding the "pH Doser" you free up 2 of the pumps on the Multi Doser leaving them all available for nutrients/additives.Or if you're only interested in pH control you can just get the pH Doser and not worry about getting the Multi Doser.
